Eligibility Criteria for IPRC Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate Apprentice (Mechanical) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

2. Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

3. Graduate Apprentice (Electronics) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

4. Graduate Apprentice (Instrumentation) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

5. Graduate Apprentice (Chemical) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

6. Graduate Apprentice (Computer Science) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

7. Graduate Apprentice (Civil) - First Class Engineering/Technology Degree in the respective disciplines acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

8. Graduate Apprentice (Library Science) - Bachelor’s Degree (in Arts/Science/Commerce) + Degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science with First Class acquired from a University/Board recognized by AICTE

Note:

Candidates who have acquired the above qualification in 2015, 2016, 2017 only are eligible to apply.

Candidates from South India (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry) will be given priority for Apprenticeship Training since this Office comes under Southern Region of BOAT. Candidates from other states will be considered only in case there is shortage of candidates in the respective discipline.

Age Limit: (As on 31.08.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Selection Procedure for IPRC Graduate Apprentice:

The selection for Apprenticeship Training will be done purely based on the PERCENTAGE OF MARKS secured in the qualifying examination as entered by the candidates in the online application.
